Community Builder
Our "Community Builder" is the North Adams Public Library, located in North Adams,
Massachusetts. We choose an organization that helps their community
in some way, to receive 10% of our online sales (this does not include e-fairs
or e-shows).
The North Adams Library is a
valuable asset to their community providing books, computer training, reading
programs for people of all ages and much more. The library is currently housed
in a fantastic mansion built and donated over a century ago. Now in a effort to
update and upgrade the Library into the next century the North Adams Public
Library is raising money to make the library larger, handicap accessible, add
restrooms, and a community area with minimal altering of the original mansion.
With your purchase from the Book Playground website you are helping the North
Adams Public Library continue to be a gateway of knowledge in their community
into the next century.
